Whats the difference between cartilege piercing and Industrial piercing?

Okay well i know obviously the industrial piercing has two holes, but if i already have a cartilege piercing, cant i just get the other hole piercied and then put in one of the industrial bar type earrings? I may sound stupid because i really dont know what im talking about but yeah. Just give any imput whatsoever on what you think relates to the topic. thanks!

The other ear there is your other side to get in bar you could always get your other ear there is no diff between cartilage what you most likely have is your cartilage piercing most likely have is cartilage and an industrial because it is your other ear there.
