oil spill on wood coffee table?

I have a queen ann style cherry coffee table, that had one of those scented oil difusers on it until the cats knocked it over while I was sleeping. Is there anything to get it looking back to normal aside from tripping and restaining? I have tried pledge and murphy's wood oil soap. I just don't want to make it worse.
